If you create and run a Report Builder that collects a large amount of data from the RM Auditor database or that covers a long Report Period, the performance of your network may be adversely affected while that Report Builder runs. You can modify the Report Generation Attributes to help you limit the impact on your network of running large Report Builders.
In the left-hand pane, click My Report Builders or All Report Builders.
From the list in the right-hand pane, select a Report Builder.
On the toolbar, choose .
On the Report Builder Properties window, choose the Settings tab.
Expand Report Generation Attributes.
Untick (clear) the Render Report Contents box if you want the Report Builder to generate the Report only in the raw data (XML) format. If you untick this option, the HTML version of the Report will not be available to view. You can view and save the raw data, if you require.
Set the Maximum Records Allowed per Report Section to specify a maximum value for the number of individual records that can be collected and displayed for any Report Section. The default value is 5000. If this maximum is exceeded, no records are displayed in the Report Section. If you set this option to zero, no maximum is set and the Report Builder may take a long time to complete and can adversely affect your network performance while it runs.
Click OK.
